Our Team

Michael Anthony is President and partner of Dietz Futrell & Walters Insurance Inc. and River Cities Financial Services. He joined the firm as a partner in 2014. Michael is a fully licensed financial advisor with Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations (held through LPL Financial). Following his graduation from Marietta College in 1998 in Business Management, Michael began working in the 401K and benefits arena, and in 2009 purchased the investment division of a local bank. Michael works with clients in the Marietta, Beverly and Chillicothe offices and has clients in over 20+ states. In 2023, Michael was included in LPL’s Chairman’s Club. This elite award is presented to less than 4% of the firm’s more than 21,000 financial advisors nationwide.  

Michael and his wife Ellen who is a teacher at Warren Local Schools are the parents of two boys, Grant and Kyle. Michael has been active in coaching basketball and soccer for 12 years and supports many schools academic and athletic endeavors and the 4H youth in the area. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends traveling and spending time on projects on their family farm in Belpre. Michael also enjoys watching Grant and Kyle compete in basketball, soccer and track and family gatherings. Michael views his clients as an extension of his family.  

Stacey Brooks is an LPL Investment Advisor Representative with River Cities Financial Services. He is a 1988 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting) and he is also a 1994 graduate of Baldwin-Wallace University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA). Stacey is a fully licensed financial advisor with Series 7 and Series 63 securities registrations (held through LPL Financial), working with clients at our Marietta, Beverly and Chillicothe offices. He is licensed in Ohio, West Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Nebraska and North Carolina. Stacey has been working in the financial industry for over 25 years. 

He enjoys working with clients to find solutions to each clients’ unique set of circumstances and opportunities.

Stacey lives in Beverly in the house in which he grew up in.  In his spare time, he prepares taxes and he likes to travel anywhere and everywhere, especially when it comes to supporting his beloved Buckeyes.  He has been to 7 of the 13 away stadiums in the Big 10 and to 4 National Championship games.

Rick has over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a former co-owner and partner of Dietz Futrell & Walters Insurance Inc. and River Cities Financial Services. He holds Series 6 and Series 63 securities registrations(held through LPL Financial), and is licensed in Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

Rick and his wife Bonnie, live in Coal Run, Ohio. In his spare time, Rick loves to travel with Bonnie, golfing, hunting, and spending time with their family and friends. 

Janelle Sprague joined River Cities Financial Services in June 2010 as an Administrative Assistant.  She is a graduate of Mountain State College, and has worked in various Administrative Assistant positions throughout her career.  In her current position as Operations Manager, Janelle oversees daily operations of the company, planning and coordination of events, and assists in all aspects of client services.    

She and her husband, Doug, reside in Waterford.  In her free time, Janelle enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.  The most meaningful part of her job is ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly so that clients have the best possible experience. 

Tammy Wells joined River Cities Financial Services in November 2003 as an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist. She attended Washington State Community College where she studied Early Childhood Administration and was employed in various positions with the local Head Start program. In her current position as a Senior Client Services Associate, Tammy’s goal and top priority is to meet the needs of our clients and to maintain those relationships. Tammy also maintains a Property Casualty Insurance license.

She and her husband, Gary live in Lowell, Ohio and in their free time they love spending time with their grandchildren and working on the family farm.
